In the summer of 2024, the borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce set out to launch a communication campaign emphasizing the importance of respecting urban cleanliness rules. To achieve these goals, Beauvoir designed and executed an illustrated campaign where the theme of sports quickly became a natural choice. This approach allowed the campaign to unite the community, draw on universal references to connect with a diverse population, and establish a rich visual language.

Enter the charismatic referee.

The humorous adventures of this character were featured on posters in borough parks, commercial streets, and street-sweeping trucks, while also making a splash on CDN–NDG’s social media platforms. A themed trash bin was even created to promote the campaign at the borough’s summer events, ensuring the message reached residents and visitors alike.
